The Orgasm-Shot®

The Orgasm-Shot® (O-Shot®) is a non-surgical procedure performed in the office where a patient’s own growth factors is injected into the tissue around the clitoral glans and the area of the G-spot to improve sexual sensitivity and orgasm.

Patients experience improvement in sensitivity, orgasm, moisture, stimulation, and arousal.

Many women feel significantly improved sexual arousal and orgasmic intensity beginning a day to 1-3 weeks after injection.

Effects appear to last between 1 to 3-4 years.

When improvements wane, the shot can be repeated.

The O-Shot® has also helped many women resolve urinary leakage and incontinence.

Benefits of the O-Shot®

  • Stronger, more frequent orgasm
  • Increased arousal and sexual desire
  • Improved vaginal sensitivity
  • A tighter introitus (vaginal opening)
  • Decreased pain for patients with dyspareunia
  • Increased natural lubrication
  • Improved symptoms of urinary incontinence

Other Uses of PRP

  • Urinary stress incontinence:  Injecting PRP around the urethra can help resolve or greatly diminish urinary incontinence. It leads to new cellular and vascular growth of tissues in the area so the tissues of the bladder base and the urethral sphincter muscles are strengthened. We can combine this treatment with the Votiva Radiofrequency system for optimal results.

  • Lichen Sclerosis:  Lichen sclerosis is progressive skin disorder of the vulva that can cause significant itching and severe atrophy, and in some cases disappearance of the vulvar clitoral and labial structures. PRP injected under the skin of the vulva in areas of lichenoid changes has been shown to improve the condition. We can combine PRP with the MonaLisa Touch vaginal CO2 treatments.

What is PRP?

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is the portion of blood devoid or red blood cells but contains serum, and has special growth factors and healing-inducing properties. It is what’s responsible for blood clotting and tissue healing. In addition to speeding healing, platelet rich plasma also contains a significant array of growth factors that make it an enhancer of function of the tissue areas that it comes into contact with.

Platelet-rich plasma is isolated from one’s own blood and re-injected into an area of the body where it may induce healing or growth-enhancing properties including cell growth, new tissue generation and repair, neovasculogenesis (formation of new blood vessels), and collagen production.

PRP is created in the office. We use your own blood via a process that involves having small amount of your blood drawn, similar to that performed in the lab during a routine venipuncture. After being drawn, the growth factors are isolated from the blood plasma via centrifugation in a special fraction-isolating tube.

PRP is all about the isolation of growth factors. PRP induces new collagen, fibroblastic activity, and healthy blood vessels. It can be used to increase collagen, increase sensation, improve healing, diminish scars, and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

What Is the Procedure?

Numbing cream using “BLT” (benzocaine, lidocain, tetracaine” is first applied to the treatment area. Next, about 30-60cc of your blood is withdrawn via a venipuncture. The blood is then processed (“spun down”) using the Genius PRP system and centrifuge. The PRP is then withdrawn into a syringe and injected around the clitoral glans and in the area of the G-spot. The plasma, which is rich in growth and vasculogenic factors, appears to enhance both the skeletal and autonomic nerve fibers in this nerve-rich area. The injection process lasts about 1-3 minutes and has been described as either painless or slight pinching and pressure sensation.

With our “comfort package” you have an option to use nitrous oxide in the office as needed to reduce pain with any procedures we perform.

What about combining the O-Shot® with other procedures?

The O-Shot® can be combined with MonaLisa Touch vaginal CO2 laser resurfacing or the Votiva RF system to enhance the collagen and elastin fiber network of the vaginal mucosa and vesico-vaginal fascia.
