Hysteroscopy

Hysteroscopy is a technique used to look inside the cavity of the uterus using a long, thin camera (hysteroscopy) inserted through the vagina and cervix. The procedure can be used to diagnose a problem, and advanced hysteroscopic techniques can be used to perform surgery such as removing fibroids with the uterine cavity or cutting away septums or scars in the cavity.
